Discussion Items:

  • Additional meetings may be needed
    1. Discussion centered on Chancellor’s memo requiring a plan for local approval of all courses being transitioned to distance education to be completed by December 30, 2020.
      1. Committee felt it will be important to educate faculty on our current Distance Learning Approval form in order to avoid submissions that have omitted key information and would thus delay the approval process.
      2. Committee also discussed adding a new check box to form indicating if the course is only to be approved on a temporary basis in emergency situations.
