CALL TO ORDER

Meeting called to order @ 11:14 a.m.

  1. PUBLIC COMMENTARY

The Committee welcomes participation at Curriculum Committee Meetings. Members of the public may address the Committee. For everyone to be heard, please limit your comments to 5 minutes or less.

 

Dr. Eveland thanked the C & GE committee for their attendance. Dr. Eveland, along with Dr. Abbott, will be co-chairing the C & GE Committee in Dr. Jacobi’s absence. Dr. Eveland and Dr. Abbott will also be serving on the Tech Review work-group until Dr. Jacobi’s return in mid-February.

  1. Oja requested that the minutes from December 2022 show (list) the program ideas the committee discussed under V. A. – Discussion Items. On a motion by B. Devine, seconded by J. Rangel-Escobedo, and unanimously carried by all, the minutes were approved with the additions of program ideas listed.

Dr. Minor gave an update on the current programs under development. Among those programs were Computer Science A.S.-T and Engineering A.S. Dr. Minor thanked Division Chairs for the program ideas/proposals submitted so far. The committee will bring back this item for the last C & GE meeting of Spring 2023.

The Spring C & GE meeting schedule will be set at our next meeting. We will be meeting February 10th 2023 after Governance Council.
