Transition to Independent Living (TIL) Program Housing
Taft College offers a world-renowned Transition to Independent Living Program (TIL) for students with developmental or intellectual disabilities. The Program provides an inclusive post-secondary experience for students on a supportive community college campus.
The TIL Program provides training and support for students living in one of the 32 dormitory rooms at the Center of independent Living (CIL) or in a home in the community.
Students are responsible for paying room and board and a program fee. Students are encouraged to decorate their rooms for comfort and style.
For eligibility, see the TIL Program entrance criteria. We require candidates and their families to take a tour of campus facilities before applying.
The application process is simple and can be found here.
