Alternate routes to Taft College during construction

SR-119/SR-43 ROUNDABOUT UPDATE
Construction is expected to start May 5th or 6th with one way traffic control, EXPECT
DELAYS. Approximately 2 weeks after that Highway 43 will be closed between Highway
119 and just south of the KCRP racetrack. That portion will remain closed during the
year-long project. In addition to that, the Lightning In A Bottle Festival will be
going on in the area at Buena Vista Lake from May 8-13 with an estimated 25,000 people.
You might want to definitely avoid the area and take an alternate route.
