Leslie welcomed the committee members.
- Approve of Minutes
The minutes for October 2024 were approved by consensus.
- Educational Master Plan Review/Discussion related to the SEMP (Xiaohong)
Xiaohong shared a draft of the Educational Master Plan (EMP) that was shared with the Governance Council and have received feedback from administration and governance council. Xiaohong went over the process to create the EMP which included listening sessions and a site visit by the consulting group. There was also discussion about the EMP is a 10 year plan, but it will be reviewed after 5 years. The Strategic Enrollment Management Plan will be a 3 year plan with annual review. The group discussed what aspects of the EMP will be referenced in the SEMP. The group agreed to use the introduction/narrative from the EMP and to be concise and provide a snapshot of information.
The group also reviewed the enrollment trends both nationally and regionally. Discussion was had regarding outreach to specific populations as well as support for students currently enrolled.
Xiaohong will send out the EMP to the group to review. She emphasized focusing on the trends area for the SEMP.

Leslie stated that the student survey is being launched soon. It will available to students for a few weeks and we can expect about 400 responses.
