Now that you’ve applied to Taft College, please take a few more steps to make your status as a Taft College student official.

Applying for financial aid is recommended – you may be surprised at what you qualify for!
MyTC is your online student portal, where you will register and pay for classes, add and drop classes, and conduct other business as a student at Taft College. You will need online access and your Student ID number.
Access and complete your online orientation via the Taft College website. Completing this step will allow you to move forward to other steps.
Students are no longer required to take the placement exam for their math and English courses. The appropriate course will be determined by your high school performance and major/program of choice. Your counselor will help you decide on the best classes during your appointment. Contact the Testing Center for more information.
Contact the Counseling Center at 661-763-7748 about creating an educational plan with a counselor.
Register for your classes and pay online via MyTC. Be sure to adhere to payment deadlines each semester. You can also pay at the Cashier’s Desk, (661) 763-7713, in the Student Services building.
Final Steps
Get your ID card
After you apply, you will receive an email from Taft College which will have your Student ID number. You can also call the Counseling Center at 661-763-7748 to retrieve your Student ID number.
