Vision
Create an accessible campus and college community based on the principles of Universal Design, providing an open and welcoming environment for all individuals.
Mission
The AOC makes every effort to provide persons with disabilities equal access to the
entire campus, classes, and programs operated by the District, including materials
and resources utilized in the implementation and delivery of those classes and programs.
All materials, instructional and non-instructional, must be accessible to individuals
with disabilities upon request, as well as meet the standards of Section 504 (print)
and 508 (electronic) of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (29 U.S.C § 794
(d) and related implementing regulations as set forth at Title 36 CFR Part § 1194.
