On a motion by A. Bledsoe, seconded by M. Mayfield, and unanimously carried by all, the February minutes were approved.

 

III.    ACTION ITEM: NEW COURSES

  1. Allied Health Applied Tech. Division
  2. EHS 1550       Endangered Species Regulation and Protection

On a motion by A. Bledsoe, seconded by B. Devine, and unanimously carried by all, the new course was approved with minor changes to the advisory/discipline.

  1. Distance Ed./Learning:

On a motion by A. Bledsoe, seconded by B. Devine, and unanimously carried by all, the Distance Ed./Learning were approved.

  1. DISCUSSION ITEMS
  2. Policy Updates
  3. Jacobi gave an update on AP 4020. Edits have been made to be in compliance with CCCC. This is informational at this point. Division chairs were encouraged to review along with AP 4100. V. Jacobi will bring an edited version to Marchs meeting.

 

  1. Updates on AB 1111 & AB 928

No update on AB 1111. AB-928 has to do with students declaring a major in CCC Apply. A task-force is under development and will provide more info when available.

 

  1. CC Accessibility

The Accessibility Committee gave an update. They are working with Facilities to make sure Classrooms are appropriately equipped. Faculty Adjunct training is a minor concern. More info to come.

 

  1. Other

Jacobi gave an update on the Local Gen Ed pattern, American History & Ideals. We are using Title 5 to help with consistency. LIBR 1548 was briefly discussed. Questions
